Trip to Fort Baker

Last Friday we went on a field trip to Fort Baker.  Fort Baker is where Samuel Baker stayed from 1872-1878 to try and get rid of Arab Slave traders.  Before he got there, the fort was where African slaves were sold, and also killed.
These are axe marks from slaves that got their heads chopped off!

Another axe mark.  We saw hundreds of axe marks.

This is where Samuel Baker lived.

Me standing on top of a cliff with a local Atcholi boy.

Walking back to our van after visiting the Fort.
