My best fishing trip ever!

This was the first Nile Perch of the day.  My dad, Auntie Tara and I all reeled it in.  I reeled it into the boat.  It was 25 lbs.
In front of Murchison Falls with a 15 lb Nile Perch.
My 33 lb Nile Perch I reeled in all by myself.

I'm going to eat you up.

Murchison Falls Game Reserve trip #2

Riding with a dead body to Fort Baker

We were on our way to Fort Baker in a special hire vehicle when we  had to stop because this truck was  stuck in a big mud puddle.  Our driver said we could not go any further.  A 4X4 truck of one of our friends arrived and pulled the truck through the mud.  We wanted to take bodas the rest of the way but the driver of this truck offered us a ride.  The catch was we had to be ok with riding in the back with a dead body in a coffin.  We made it to Fort Baker in the back of the truck with a dead body.

Eating lunch at a traditional Acholi restaurant

Ordering our food.  I ordered beens, rice and beef.
The kitchen.  The restaurant has a big stove compared to others we've been to.
My dad's lunch of beans, sweet potato and bo in g-nut sauce.
Walking home with our bellies full.

Picking up Auntie Tara

Auntie Tara was supposed to come to Kigali with us but her flight was delayed out of Miami and she missed her connecting flight at Heathrow and was redirected to Turkey where she found out that her flight from Istanbul to Entebbe would not be leaving for 3 days later.  We picked her up on our way back from Kigali

This cow's horns are too heavy for his head.  Ouch.

Our trip to Kigali, Rwanda

Us getting on Air Uganda for our flight from Entebbe to Kigali.

The pool at our hotel.  Downtown Kigali is in the distance.

My gigantic breakfast.  Look at the size of the plate!

In front of the Kigali Memorial Center.  The memorial center is where they  educate people about the Rwandan  Genocide. It was a very sad place.

Nice dive Forrest!

Halloween Gulu Style

This Monday we had a Halloween party at our 'Muno' friends house.  We did alot of activities at their house. The first activity was a fashion show.  The second activity was blind volleyball.  Our third activity was a costume relay - you'll see a funny picture below.  The fourth activity was red rover - Forrest got closelined and almost did a back flip.  The fifth activity was a sack race.  The last activity was pumpkin designing.  We won a box of apple cider packages!

Our costumes and pumpkins.  Luke was Superman, I was Macho Man Randy Savage and Forrest was Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible.

The cutest baby costume ever - Madeline.
Me in the fashion show.  Everyone laughed.
I overcame my stage fright!

Me in the costume relay.  We had to put on a woman's dress , hat, sunglasses, shirt.  And we had to pose like a girl!
